5.5" Tall by 3�۝ Wide Air Plant Holder

This piece is made from locally harvested Cherry.
The finish is five coats of spray on lacquer, this finish over top of the oil pastel creates a smooth, glaze like feel.

The beauty of this piece is that it is a one of a kind original, there is no other piece with the same shape and color.

Air plant is secured in �_�۝ hole. This piece can be used to hold other things than an air plant, such as a tall skinny candle, other live flowers etc.

This air plant holder was hand-turned on a wood lathe. It is then hand-colored with oil pastels, this coloring process is very unique and original. I discovered it 11 years ago at age 10 and developed a line of home decor using this amazing coloring process. This oil pastel coloring process is unprecedented and displays both the natural beauty of wood grain as well as vibrant color.
